Verezzi, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.

The territory is made up of several villages: Poggio, Piazza, Crosa and Roccaro. They can be reached through the characteristic pedestrian paths or, alternatively, by car arriving at the parking located in Verezzi Alta.

Borgata Crosa

This is in the hilliest area and has a lot of things to visit, following the pedestrian path that can be reached from the Verezzi Alta car park. With a quick footstep you can reach the area of the washhouses and some tanks still in use by those who reside. Continuing along the path, you will reach the square that hosts San Martino Vescovo church and the Sanctuary of Maria Regina.

After a short visit, following the pedestrian path that goes into the vegetation, you will find signs for several paths that allow you to visit all the villages present. Following the signs to Mulino and Croce dei Santi you can reach the Phoenician mill, one of the three specimens found in Europe. Resuming the path for a few minutes, you reach the Croce dei Santi present since the end of the 1600s and left by the Capuchin Friars following the journey to the Holy Land.

Borgata Piazza

It can be reached by following the pedestrian path from the Verezzi Alta car park, taking the ridge that descends into the cultivated area. The name of the village derives from the spectacular and characteristic Piazza S. Agostino, a panoramic and characteristic area where every year is organized the Festival Teatrale di Borgio Verezzi. In the area there are some bar where you can pleasantly spend your time, enjoying a priceless view of the Ligurian Gulf.

Borgata Poggio

To reach this area of Verezzi, leave Piazza S. Agostino behind you and follow the path to the left. Once you reach the parking lot, proceed further arriving in Borgata Poggio. Also, in this case there are the characteristic houses of the area, and some commercial activities.

Borgata Roccaro

In this case, to reach the Borgata Roccaro, go back to Piazza S. Agostino and, leaving the church on your left, continue straight along the pedestrian path. You will enjoy a unique, characteristic and panoramic area. A postcard area that you will walk through between buildings, dry stone walls and panoramic views. Continuing from this village, following all the directions, you can reach Borgio and then the suggestive area of the caves of Borgio Verezzi.
